The Walker Team has been fantastic with both of my real estate transactions so far, a purchase and a sale. They are always vibrant yet professional and extremely organized. We met at one of their open houses, and were immediately drawn to the energetic personality The purchase in 2012 was a piece of cake. We selected a few properties that we wanted to see via Redfin/ Trulia etc. They didn’t just open the door for us, but they helped us to talk to the current owners (to learn about their situation and willingness to sell), and also pointed out potential maintenance issues (eg: cracked fireplace) that we would not have noticed without her trained eye. We were buyers in a multiple offer situation and were willing to pay a premium over the asking price. Through his network, Keith was able to find out that the other offers were not very strong. On the morning the offers were due, he called and told us to adjust down to a full-price offer and it would be ours! The sale of our condo in 2013 also went very well. Keith provided guidance through a potentially sticky tenant and neighbor dispute. Once we were ready to sell, the Walker Team lined up their go-to team of vendors (contractor, cleaning, property inspection, termite inspection) – which were all ready to go on the first day at the condo! At the last minute, the tenants complained so we had to reschedule the inspections, and those vendors thankfully were extremely understanding and flexible, which is a testament to The Walker Team’s relationship with them. Again there was a multiple-offer situation, but this time we were the Seller. Keith helped us to navigate through the situation and help us to understand the strengths of each offer (higher price vs no contingencies). As an icing on the cake–they throw awesome client appreciation parties! I am definitely looking forward to working with them on future real estate transactions.
